Editorial: Forging a bold new path: 2026–2030 Strategic Plan

Abstract

As President and Vice President of the Canadian Association of Nurses in Oncology (CANO/ACIO), and on behalf of the Board of Directors (BODs), we are pleased to share CANO/ACIO 2026–2030 Strategic Plan.

The CANO/ACIO Strategic Plan outlines our organization’s strategic directions and priorities, and the necessary actions to achieve them. It serves as a guiding framework, supporting our organization to fulfill our mission and vision while ensuring that efforts and resources are allocated efficiently. As our 2020-2025 plan is coming to close, we are proud of the progress and achievements we have made as an organization, and grateful to all the oncology nursing leaders, and partners who helped us achieve it. It is also important for us to reflect, prioritize and lean into opportunities for growth.
